dc.description.abstract | This article suggests some coincidences between two eras, the time of the Inquisition of the Rhenish mysticism and the current period, which show spiritual alter natives, in which the path of Grace is proposed to procure a fullness of life. In the case of covid-19, the confrontation with vulnerability and confinement allows us to look at the factors that challenge us. It enables us to stop at the questions of the meaning of life centered on the essential values of love and solidarity, forcing us to relativize the banalities and systems of violence. On the one hand, the text addresses the approach of Rhenish mysticism with its great teachers, in dialogue with the spiritual paths of their time. On the other hand, it reviews our confrontation with the current pandemic, awakening us to the same search.
