La iniciativa Servicio Voluntario Europeo (SVE) en el programa Erasmus: el Aprendizaje Más Servicio (ApS) y la innovación social como estrategias

Abstract

El presente artículo expone las principales dificultadas identificadas en la iniciativa Servicio Voluntario Europeo (SVE), un enfoque de innovación social como metodología de Aprendizaje Más Servicio (ApS) en contextos de educación no formal, cuyo objetivo es mejorar la inclusión social de los jóvenes e incrementar su compromiso transformador de la realidad. Frente a estas dificultades, se propone una serie de medidas de mejora para que sean consideradas por los agentes encargados de desarrollar dicha iniciativa. Tales medidas correctoras son resultado de un estudio de caso llevado a cabo, mediante metodologías participativas, en el contexto de la experiencia Jóvenes enInnov-Acción Social, en el que participaron 30 sujetos (profesionales del ámbito de la juventud, responsables de organizaciones y jóvenes participantes de la iniciativa SVE e investigadores sociales).

In the present work, the main difficulties identified in the “European Voluntary Service” Initiative are firstly exposed when providing a social innovation approach as a learning-service methodology in non-formal education contexts whose objective is to improve the young people social inclusión and to increase their social reality transforming commitment. In view of these difculties, a series of corrective measures are proposed to be considered by the agents in charge of developing this initiative. These corrective measures are the result of a case study carried out, by using participatory methodologies, in the context of the “Youth in Innov-social action” experience, in which 30 subjects participated (professionals in the field of youth, heads of organizations and young participants in the “European Voluntary Service” Initiative and social researchers).
