Jesuitas y oratorianos

Abstract

Con este artículo queremos contribuir a una reflexión comparativa entre jesuitas y oratorianos en la Nueva España. Se pretende –con este estudio de caso– proponer una agenda de investigación para remontar las visiones aisladas que impiden observar el espectro completo de la labor religioso-cultural del clero y así poder distinguir entre lo específico y lo general de cada agrupación religiosa en diversos momentos.

This article aims to contribute to a comparative reflection between Jesuits and Oratorians in New Spain. The intention is to propose – through this case-study – a research agenda that goes beyond isolated visions that hinder the observation of a complete spectrum of the religious-cultural labor of the clergy in order to distinguish between the specificities and the generalities of each religious aggrupation in varied moments.
